Episode #1907- "Outsiders Perspectives"
Sunflower Journeys welcomed a new producer this year. John Njagi joined our staff and compares the Kansas life he now lives to the upbringing he had in his native Kenya. Next, it's on to Ramona, Kansas where two sisters are making quite a stir after arriving from California and taking the Sunflower State head-on. Then we look at a new business started in Topeka by Concepcion Reyes in this Plains People segment. She operates an Asian/oriental food market and caters to the specific needs of people from many cultures.

Episode #1908- "The Open Road"
This Sunflower Journeys program looks at the Interstate highway system as implemented by Dwight D. Eisenhower. The need to move troops and equipment across our state in the early 20th century led to the interconnected system we have today. Next we travel to Marquette, Kansas and explore a the Kansas Motorcycle Museum. And finally, the open road is the means by which Bud and Evelyn Widick travel and meet up with their circle of friends in the RV lifestyle in this Plains People segment.
