This half-hour program is the fascinating story of Lewis Lindsay Dyche. A professor of the late 1800's, Dyche. A professor of the late 1800's, Dyche scoured the world in search of unique animals to place on display in the University of Kansas Natural History Museum that ultimately bore his name. With a life story that reads like an adventure story, Dyche rescued Commander Peary and plotted to discover the North Pole himself.
