Music Venues - It’s been a busy year for the newly-opened Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts as we take a look at this world-class facility, meet the center’s director Jane Chu, and find out how it’s fitting in to the musical culture of Kansas City and the region; then on to Chase County, where their local chamber of commerce stages an event “River Suite,” serving supper accompanied by live music to guests assembled on the old river bridge at Cottonwood Falls; and we follow Bryan Lewis, one of the organizers of the “Brews, BBQ & Blues Festival” in downtown Topeka, as he sets the stage for this event.
