Episode #1901- "Replication, Restoration & Recreation"
The 10-part series begins with a look at the Friesen Flour Mill in Hillsboro, Kansas. The restructured mill allows visitors to walk through the milling history of the region. Next, we travel to Cottonwood Falls where the Chase County courthouse continues to be the region's crowning jewel of local history. And finally, in our Plains People segment, Luray, Kansas is the setting as we see how this town of 190 citizens pulled together to build a community golf course. Gene Lehmann is one of the local residents who describes in his own unique way how the course was conceived.

Episode #1902- "Small Town Celebrations"
In this show, we travel to the town of Antonino, southwest of Hays. There we join a centennial celebration with former and current families that founded this Volga German settlement. Then we travel further northwest to Bird City where life once again breathes through the steam lungs of old tractors at the annual Antique Engine & Thresher show. And finally, we learn first-hand what it takes to get Wamego's 4th of July parade up and running from parademaster Mike Malin in our Plains People segment. (DVD)
